6 Spring Cleaning Tips

the premier disinfectant spray for sports equipment

It’s Spring Cleaning time—and if you haven’t experienced the satisfaction of a deep seasonal clean, it’s time to get started. Throw open your windows, get out the supplies and start cleaning your abode from top to bottom. Your home will feel refreshed and you’ll feel amazing.

It doesn’t matter where you start, just make a list of everything you want to tackle and get started. Here are some ideas to get you moving.

1. Go Deep & Disinfect

One of the best ways to start your spring clean is to go deep and disinfect areas that are a breeding ground for nasty germs and bacteria. This is the perfect time to bust out the Clear Gear Spray! This favorite disinfectant spray for sports equipment is not just for the athletic industry—Clear Gear can be used to deep clean all areas of the house, from the bathrooms, laundry space and furniture to all the high-touch common areas like light switches and handles. Don’t forget to clean up the home gym, dog crates and bedding, and outdoor furniture too! This powerful spray deodorizes while attacking mold and mildew and killing germs and bacteria that put you and your family at risk.

2. De-Clutter

One of the most satisfying parts of spring cleaning is eliminating clutter. You can go Marie Kondo-style and use joy as a motivation or simply sort excessive belongings into categories such as: trash, donate, put in its place and store. You’ll feel much lighter afterwards!

3. Dust

Dust your home from the top of the room downward so that you can vacuum whatever falls to the ground. Hit all the hard-to-reach areas, from top shelves to little nooks and crannies. Remove everything off the shelves and dust those items too.

4. Window Treatments

Curtains, draperies and blinds collect dust, pet fur and grime like crazy. For fabric, start with a sticky lint roller to remove dirt and then pre-treat with Clear Gear to disinfect. Either wash them or dry clean, depending on the fabric. Blinds can be wiped down with a cloth sprayed with Clear Gear. Wipe down the windowsills and window tracts as well.

5. Wipe Walls and Ceilings

Many of our customers wipe down walls and ceilings with Clear Gear. You may want to vacuum first to remove dust. Then attack the surface grime with a microfiber cloth doused with Clear Gear. Hit the ceiling fans and light fixtures while you’re at it.

6. Hit the Floors

Vacuum floors, rugs and carpeting and then spray with Clear Gear to disinfect and deodorize. Next, steam clean the carpets and rugs, wax non-wood floors and polish the hardwood floors.
